In May, Chanel launches Les Eaux De Chanel, a new line of three Eaux de Toilette (Paris – Deauville, Paris – Biarritz, Paris – Venise). The line is named after the travels and ties between Gabriel Chanel and certain cities throughout her career and offer “a sense of freshness that is as emotional as the memory of a journey.” The creations are all signed by perfumer Olivier Polge.
It is 1920. For Gabrielle Chanel, Venice is love at first sight and a fresh start. Deeply shocked by the death of her beloved Boy Capel, she lets herself be roused by the bustle of this contrasting city, where the personalities and influentials of the entire world cavort. The Byzantine and Baroque art treasures that she discovered here shaped her eye and her taste and become one of the main sources of inspiration of her style.
Paris – Venise is a fresh oriental fragrance. It includes notes of neroli in combination with ambery accords of vanilla and tonka.
Paris – Venise was launched in 2018.
